Process for: PaintBuckets

For this painting I began w/ these sketches...

I refined the sketch further...I like to use tracing paper for this step.
In this case I used it to add the paint drips

This is the final line. This is what I would transfer to board and paint over

The next step was to do a Value and Color Study. I decided to use Rainbow colors for the Paint...

-I was careful not to use red or green on the paint covering the frog (NO REDto avoid it from standing out from the other two animals and NO GREEN b'c it would obviously blend with the green frog). As a result I started with the red on the left side and moved toward the right using the colors in correct order as they appear on rainbows-
-I went with a brown rabbit because otherwise I would have too much "white" on the center left side of the image, and isolating the frog-

Here is the final piece done in Acrylic...

Legend Of Zelda Fan Art

Here are two paintings I did, Inspired by the new Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword video game...

Process for: Fright Catalog Cover

The task was to create an Image for the cover for The Fright Catalog...

I began w/ These Sketches....

I after I decided on the idea I Refined the Sketch...and did Value Study
Finally I did a few a Color Compositions...I didn't like any of them,
so I combined a few things from each...

This is the first finished Version...

I didn't like the Color pencil background so I ended up painting it w/ Acrylic...
And here is the Final piece...
